Hello! I go by "Dr3amwalker" pretty much everywhere online these days, but Alex works too.
I'm not that great at describing myself, so I apologize if this is a little wordy.I was born and raised in the southern United States as an only child. I knew early on I was different from other kids, and not the ideal version of what my parents or peers wanted me to be. I found sanctuary in the natural world and the arts, discovering the deeply rooted passion that fuels my soul through interacting with nature, and creating various forms of art.Now, at 30, most of what I do nowadays involve digital artworks, and writing. Both are being blended to create what I'd consider my "Magnum Opus", if I can get past my own perfectionist complex. There will be more information on that soon-ish.
I also dabble in painting, felting, clay sculpting, and whatever else strikes my ADHD creative fancy for the week.Over the past couple of years, I have begun to develop carpal tunnel in my hands [moreso in my right hand] due to working hard hands-on jobs. Unfortunately, I am American and cannot afford the necessary visitations/surgeries to fix it. I have had to quit my job in order to prioritize my health and my passions. [No, my job(s) did not have health insurance.] This is on top of preexisting mild arthritis. Me bones ache.After losing my soul-cat, and with the threat of losing my hands, I'm really stepping it into gear to make myself, and my furry children proud. I have spent most of my life prioritizing paychecks and bills, and while those are important, I've had to reassess my priorities in regards to slave waging. I've had a rocky relationship with my artistic endeavors, and kept putting off my passions for "when I was making enough money and had more energy." ... Yeah, that didn't work out the way I'd planned lol.If you don't use it, you lose it. That's how the saying goes, and that's what it feels like. I been using my hands for the wrong things, and now I'm reaping the karma for it. So now I'm consumed by the flames of my passions. My biggest hurdle is consistency, and patience. I have to take my time on account of my aching hands. They don't hurt all the time, but when they do, it's a struggle to even use my phone.
But I'm doing well overall!
Just achy.And before anyone gets concerned, my partner makes plenty to keep my cats fed and taken care of. ♥ I will, and have gone hungry before my animals ever want for food. That's what a mama does. ♥

These are my kids. I've had them since they were kittens. Both are special needs. Floki has separation anxiety, he's my literal shadow following me from room to room. Charlie had endometriosis as a kitten--essentially "pre-teen" age--and had a full hysterectomy to save her life. She has a particular temperament as a result that can be difficult for the inexperienced.
Both are happy, healthy, and love affection. Yet, they refuse to cuddle with each other.[Edit; Update] It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that my dearest Floki suddenly passed away late January 2025 due to undetected liver cancer at 10 years old. Even updating this in November '25 brings me to tears. He passed peacefully at home with his loving mothers and darling sister, Charlie. We will always have a place here for you, baby man. ♥

[Tinderbox] Is a long-term project I've been working on intermittently over the past decade, and then some.The first installment is Lucid.
Lucid is an adult dark sci-fi fantasy, set in a massive world known as Mitéra. Much of the world is left divided over arcane technologies, and power. Many nations have placed Sanctions on their people, prohibiting any unlicensed use of arcana for any and all purposes. However, there are other territories who view the arcane with reverence, incorporating it into nearly every wall within their cities.
Vihrland, a sanctioned nation, claims to have seized control of Icarus, a large company who'd been secretly working on a program simply referred to as "Project Genesis." Chimera were the results of their efforts; powerful beings whose affinity for arcana made them almost priceless on the battlefield. With numerous contracts and sales between other nations, it was only a matter of time until the truth broke free.
Halcyon, a group of escaped Chimera, have been labeled as terrorists. Their attacks on military facilities, convoys, and acquisitions of irreplaceable assets have earned the ire of not only those in seats of power, but the commonfolk as well.
Despite her own grievances with Halcyon's leader, Nora knows better than to believe the false narratives pushed by their politicians. She witnessed first-hand the corruption nestled deep within the powers that be, and still has the scars to prove it.Sentinels, military backed law enforcement, patrol the streets.
